Sign up as normal
There's no separate trainee sign-up — use the standard one. It's the same calm 5-minute setup, and your 14-day trial starts straight away so you're not waiting on us to get going.
Step 2
Email your proof to hello@theraflo.co.uk
Send a screenshot, certificate, or letter from your provider showing your course and its teaching end date. Use the same email address you signed up with so we can match it to your account. Do it as early as you can — approval takes 4–5 working days and the standard 14-day trial runs meanwhile.
Step 3
Free to use with no limits
Once we verify, you'll see a confirmed free-usage end date in your account — time to set up your practice without the cost. A 3-month trial picks up from there.

Why we do this.
Therapy is one of the few careers where you finish your training thousands of pounds out of pocket and then have to build a business from scratch, often while still seeing clients on placement. Software shouldn't be one more bill in that pile.

Common questions.
- Who counts as a trainee?
- Anyone currently enrolled on a recognised UK counselling, psychotherapy, CBT, or psychology training course. If you're partway through and seeing placement clients, that usually counts.
- Who counts as recently qualified?
- We measure from your teaching end date — the last day of taught term in your final year, not the date you finish your placement hours or get accredited. If that date was within the last few months and you're still inside the 3-month window from it, you'll get the remainder of that window free, followed by the 3-month trial.
- Which end date do you use — teaching end, placement end, or qualification?
- Teaching end — the last day of taught term in your final year. It's the fixed date your provider can confirm in writing and the one that'll be on your proof. Many trainees keep accruing placement hours after that and don't formally qualify until months (sometimes years) later, which is great, but anchoring the offer to teaching end keeps things clean and time-limited. Your 3-month trial picks up from there.
- What proof do you need, and how do I send it?
- Something that shows you're on a course and its teaching end date. A screenshot of your training portal, a confirmation letter, an invoice, or a certificate. Email it to hello@theraflo.co.uk from the address you signed up with — we verify manually, so a clean screenshot is usually enough.
- Do I need a card?
- No. No card during the free period, no card during the 3-month trial that follows.
- What happens after the 3-month trial?
- You'd move onto the standard plan at £13.99/month. Cancel any time, export your data any time. Same as for everyone else.
- Is anything stripped back during the free period?
- No. You get the full TheraFlo. Every feature, every bundle, the lot. The point is to make it easy to learn the tool you'll actually rely on later.
